## .tv at a glance

- **Type**: Country-code TLD (ccTLD) of Tuvalu
- **Best for**: Video, streaming, creators
- **How we check**: Registry RDAP where the registry publishes it, DNS otherwise. Each result says which one answered.

## Worth knowing

- Licensing the TLD is a significant source of income for Tuvalu's government.
- Premium pricing is common for short or keyword names.
- AvailableWhois uses the registry's RDAP service when available and DNS otherwise, and labels the source.
